BMW Midrand – The I Choices team that is based at BMW head office in Midrand got the ball rolling this year with the ORB and their spirits uplifted with Diksi Dancing.

Like most call centre personnel in the world you are bound to your seat and in front of the computer with a headset and listening to customers calls that come in. There is little time to get together as a group and enjoy an afternoon of team building and getting the year underway with a bang.

Enigma Adventures provided this team just with that by setting up the ORB for them to experience a “scream” of adrenalin and a dance explosion with Diski Dance (the dance of the 2010 World Cup).

The ORB blew their minds away as most of the team members looked up at the, over 6m high, ramp that were inflated in the area behind the parking bays. They felt like little dwarfs as they scaled the ramp to get into the 3.2m high balls at the top. There facilitators of the ORB waited for them to get them strapped in for the ride of their lives. As both ORBanauts sat ready to go the ORB slowly started rolling forward, the tension started to build and screams came out from the smallest of bodies. All the words that were mentioned when they reached the end of the ride was: “It’s amazing and can I go again?”

While the rest of the team was busy doing the ORB and becoming seasoned riders in the sport called zorbing, the rest of the team participated in Diski Dancing. Doubtful at first whether they would be able to get the steps right, most just went wild as they enjoyed the music and their instructor, Thulani that showed them the five easy steps. It didn’t take long for them to get all the steps under control and not long after that laughter came from every participant in the Diski Dance.

The management of I Choices made it even more memorable with a Boerewors Role and a cold beverage waiting for everyone taking part. It was a great afternoon of fun and just the right medicine to get this year underway.
