FNB Infrastructure takes Recession Fashion Show to new highs

Johannesburg, UJ Athletics Track – FNB INFRASTRUCTURE came, they saw and they conquered a team building activity called THE RECESSION FASHION SHOW.
After a couple days of rain Friday morning broke on us an it was a beautiful morning at the University of Johannesburg athletics track as the FNB Infrastructure team came walking up to the steps towards the clubhouse.
More than eighty employees walking towards the unknown and fearing that the venue for their team building event is a sign of things to come. “Is it going to be a 400m or a 100m sprint?” Who knows what they were thinking, but the questions of: “Are we going to run?” told the story.
They were pleasantly surprised when they found out what the following couple of hours will hold for them. THE RECESSION FASHION SHOW – taking all the equipment that was given to you and add a huge amount of free thinking, teamwork, enthusiasm and a bit of madness to create fashion designs that would be unforgettable while team members model whatever they created at the end.
Nine groups taking the fashion industry by storm! From the word go, the teams overflowed with ideas and enthusiasm. Whether the idea came from male or female, success is dependent on teamwork. The groups knew what was expected from them in the limited time available to complete the task. People that never worked together in their lives now created fashion like Calvin Klein, GUCCI and Gianni Versace have never seen.
In a matter of hours nine teams have created more than just fashion. They have created something that was more tangible than a jacket, a hat, a dress, a pair of pants they created a team bond and spirit that no one could take away from them. Taking pride in their creations and knowing that the team worked together to create what everyone could see.
Everyone stood amazed when the fashion show started and the models came out to model each teams’ creations. The spirit within the whole FNB INFRASTRUCTURE team was electric and every model that stepped up was welcomed with grand applause. The shouts, whistles and laughter were addictive as the RECESSION FASHION SHOW got to the climax – the parade of best models.
The shouts of the teams got louder as they wanted the judges to hear who their favorites where in the group of finalists. This made the decision so much easier and the final winners were announced and the teams welcomed it with approving applause.
When looking back at the event there was so much to remember. The laughter, shouts of joy, applause, team spirit, teams working together and team bonding to name but a few. There is nothing more satisfying to see, than people enjoying themselves and building relationships that wasn’t there.FNB INFRASTRUCTURE - YOU GUYS WHERE AWESOME AND ENIGMA ADVENTURES GIVES YOU A STANDING OVATION!
